Proof of ducks. Jackie refused to believe me that there are ducks around here..HERE LOOK!!
Sunset goal
The simpler they are.. the more photogenic they get
GOAL!! Question is.. which goal?? (True in life too)
Meadowbank shore
Life is back to normal for me. It is wierd that i have so much that i want to do, but when i have all the time in the world, i can't get myself motivated to do it. Motivation only comes when time is at a premium. However, i did manage to move my butt to take photos around Meadowbank. The photos were taken during my evening walk. The lighting was beautiful, and of course meadowbank is also a photogenic place.
Your meadowbank sounds idyllic. Like countryside England from the books. Just enjoy nature and the time you have. It is not always available, or possible, for some.
Yes, it does feel like countryside england, even though i have not been to england :-P At nites, there are quite a few people who fish by the river side.. i am tempted to join them one of these nites ^_^ Trying to take in as much of tis life while i am still here and have the time.
This series is the best of your photo collections. **hug hug** So proud of you .^-^. Your skill has definitely improved a lot. So has your eye for detail. I like all the shots, especially the goal posts. Well, the captions sound a bit cliche, but bearable. Meadowbank shore looks great too but I know the color of the water in reality, so it probably looks great only under such dim sunset lighting. Still, the depth, texture, lighting etc.. are well composed. Overall, it's WOW!
Oopss.. wanted to edit my comment and landed up deleting it instead.. hee hee.
Firstly, thanx for ta positive comments ^_^ But, that is the color of the water. I suppose Parramatta river has been known for being polluted, thus the bad perception. Surprisingly, i do see people catching 6 - 8" sized fishes by the pier.
Ah Han, we can go fishing together wen you are here ^_^
Nice photos. They are really good & pro shoots. The "duck" is commenting. Who is "duck"? The ducks in the pond. Could be Ah-Po? or someone else? Blog commenters, please guess who the "duck"!
Thank you Ah Yang. Sunset tends to give pictures a nice feel ^_^ Time for me to try taking photos wif different settings.. have been tempted to take in ta rain, but too afraid in damaging my camera :-P
WYang, 'duck' is 'the wife' :P Read the comments about things being moved around the house (from J&J's visit blog entry). That's your clue.
Mr Ho, I'll hold you to it - fishing when I visit! Think we may get some cheap fares in 2nd half of year, with the entry of new airlines in the domestic market.
Thanks Karen. I'm new to this meadowlife blog. IVY=duck. Why duck? Please tell me why. Animals farm is nice. Ben, please take more animal pictures. Birds at the park will be nice too.

Neither have I - been to England ;) You should try. Maybe a squid or two might make its way into your wok.

Doesn't take much to fish... jus a bamboo stick, string, hook and bread ^_^ Maybe we can go hook some ducks and twist their necks??
Now, is this getting personal huh ?
First the goat asked about the identity of duck and then there's talk to go hook ducks and twist their necks!!
Hey hey... wat's tis about goats and ducks??? When did tis become an animal farm?? If we do butcher ta animals.. we do it ta halal way :)
