Red Moon
Red moon night. The moon turned fully red at about 8pm coz of the eclipse. Pictures taken from the apartment balcony.
Makan makan
Decided to post some pix from the Msia fair at Darling Harbour. The whole affair was very "student-ly". Reminded me of MUMSU days. For some reason it felt weird being around so many Msian's in Sydney. But it was a nice outing.

Tour de Mortlake
The good weather is back in Sydney.. yippee!! Finally managed to do some cycling. Didn't cover as much distance as i wanted as i spent time snapping away and getting lost ^_^ Sydney is a picturistic place. There is a good mix of old buildings, parks and waterfront views. My saturday cycle took me from meadowbank to mortlake, across the parramatta river and back again.. a whole 2 hours ride ^_^
Sunday was Msia fair day at Darling Harbour with Kim and her friends. Will do a separate post on that later.

A little thing called rain
Another rained out weekend, thus postponing my tour de sydney again. A rather tiring week for me. The delivery driver is on 3 weeks leave and everyone has to fill in for him. I absolutely hate delivering water.. it's freaking heavy. Each water bottle weighs 15Kg - 20Kg, lifting them off the UTE and walking with them is TIRING... and tis aging body takes forever to heal these days. Will try hard tis week to find more people to delegate tis task to ^_^ Ivy and me have been busy trying to sort out our reception back home. Every family seem to have their "tradition" of the formalities. Anyway, we are only planning a simple dinner in Spore and JB. Details will be posted up once confirmed.

Scratch Scratch
A scratchy weekend for me. I think i have developed an allergy to bleach. Itching all over.. geez. Had wanted to start my tour de sydney cycling tis weekend, landed up rewashing practically everything in ta home. I have also acquired an addiction to reading manga comics online ^_^ The photo above is me reading online on the balcony (only missing a cigarette, but i don't smoke).

Tour De Meadowbank
I finally bought my al-cheapo bicycle. Come to think about it, when did bikes start to cost over $250 for the cheapest model?? Took the opportunity to ride to Olympic Park and back. Huffed and puffed like a person who has been smoking and drinking all his life.. pathetic. Anyway, that's why i bought the bike.. gud for the heart and the waistline ^_^ Met up with some friends on Friday nite. Vipul and Miyuki are the 1st people that i met when i 1st arrived in Sydney. They were studying at UWS then and have now graduated and attempting to get their PR. Lets see if i have the strength next week to cycle further :-P
