2 Sampans

I used to think the star cruise ship was huge.. picture taken during a family Star Cruise trip in 2005. For those of you who have not taken a ride in it.. it's actually quite a worth while family trip

Queen Victoria is BIGGER... ahem.. but not in tis shot :-P

Ah... the proper picture of Queen Victoria.. and the huge crowd who came

Typical tourist shot ^_^

Arrival of Queen Elizabeth 2

What everyone was waiting for.. the passing of the old and new

The big event over the weekend for Sydney was the arrival of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ships at Sydney Harbour. Q.Vic is the newest luxury liner in the fleet and Q.E2 will be decomissioned really soon. Anyway, ivy and me made the journey to the city to see what all the hoo haaa was all about. Actually we just wanted to have a reason to go out since the weather was really gud ^_^ It was a nice affair..being with the crowd and enjoying the atmosphere.

Apa Ini?

take a guess.. wat's tat?

our valentine's treat ^_^

Doubt anyone can guess what the 1st picture is all about. That's my new lychee jasmine tea ^_^ Ivy says it looks disgusting. Funnily, it does not taste like lychee or jasmine... in fact it tastes like some weed :-P The higlight of our weekend was Billy Elliot the Musical... it was our Valentine's treat (together with some yummy jap sushi dinner ^_^) We had to struggle with the irish accent used but the 3 hours performance was well worth the $$. I am always intrigued by the creative props... how they are able to change them fluidly.... and the dancing/music was good too. Hope everyone had a meaningful Valentine's day !

Gong Xi Fa Chai.....

Ah.. wonderful smell of joss stick

Gong Xi Fa Chai everyone...I am sure most of you back in Msia/Spore are having a great family time. Can't say that Ivy and me enjoyed ourselves.. coz we didn't :-( This CNY is the 1st time that i actually worked thru the whole occasion. However, we did try to make it as festive as we could.. hung CNY rat stuff on the wall.. burnt joss sticks to make the apartment smell like the occasion... cooked nian kow ^_^ I think our place now smells like a temple :-P
