To All Family and dear old friends.... thank you for your greetings. Ivy and me would like to wish everyone...
MERRY XMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR.... May all your new year resolutions be kept and happy moments grow in the coming new year ^_^
The following few images summarizes our xmas in Sydney thus far:
Company Korean Xmas dinner.. a few other guys are missing from the pix
"Candy House" as ivy calls it. It's just down the road from where we live. The owner actually collects "donation" from onlookers for his xmas decorations. People have a habit of ligthing up their homes here for Xmas.
Xmas display at David Jones
Shopping "crowd" in the city at 9pm
Sea of lights... the Xmas tree at Martin's Place

X'mas dinner at Korean restaurant? Is that Polly in the photo? Where is Kevin?
Merry X'mas & A Happy New Year!
nope tat's not polly. pols is busy being pregnant..^_^
wat's wrong wif having korean food for xmas? we like variety for our company dinner.. the last time we had aussie food, then middle east, then vietnamese, then mediterranean... yummy :-P
Merry Christmas all! To good health, good friends & a good year ahead!
Instead of getting donations, the authorities should fine those who use up more electricity and therefore contributing to greenhouse gases and ruining Earth. Stupid idiots!
i dun remember homes being that lit up in Melb.. are there?? or is tis jus a Sydney thing?
very christmassy feeling...puts you in the real holiday mood.. i guess that's something we miss over here... it was raining cats & dogs on christmas eve & christmas day!!
Go to The Boulevard in Ivanhoe. There's enough light there to keep the eskimos warm. Ya didn't know??
Nope.. never knew about that in Melb. Come to think about it, i don't remember being in Melb during Xmas time ^_^
Mich.. there are actually more lights in KL city and Spore for Xmas than there is over here. They keep a really low key on street decorations coz they want Oz to be a religion neutral country.
Which is quite silly b'cos we should celebrate with the other religions as well. I remember that last year prior to the Carols by Candlelight at our council, they were actually considering NOT singing songs with religious themes during X'mas. That is an absolute joke! If others do not want to listen to songs about celebrating the birth of Christ, then they might as well f#@% off somewhere else & not come in the first place
well guys... councils & policy makers are real idiots!!
anyway... wishing you all a very happy new year... have fun couting down...
Looks like a great Christmas. :D
Happy New Year to the 2 of you...your fist new year as newly weds :)
Have a wonderful year ahead...with sounds of pitter patter around the house :)
Happy New Year everyone! This is certainly a blast from the past!!
thanx everyone for your greetings ^_^ for those of you who are "rats".. i have heard that it won't be a gud year for us...but i never believed such things. for some reason, whenever people say it's going it be gud, it hardly ever turns out that way.. so i trust it will happen for the opposite ^_^
