Cheer up! We all know you aim in Australia. I think it is a win-win situation, you're a step closer & a lot more wiser in job experience. Some time, I do envy you, as you get see so much. My life kind of fixed (i.e. fatherhood). Anyway, most people always think alike ... like cows who think the grass on the other side of river bank is greener.
thanx ah yang. my life is the opposite of yours. you have a family and a stable lifestyle. i have neither.. but i have been living nomadic life. If you asked me 15 years ago, i would never imagined where life has taken me. I think i want stability in my life now ^_^
Ben I think it is quite understandable that you want more stability in your life. You can only run around seeing the world so much. Eventually you get tired of it and want to just do the simple things. Welcome to the mid-30's mate. Can I suggest you get a dog!
Well, you can always get a hamster or rat...they don't really need much maintainence. If you don't feed them for long, they kark it, then get another one :)...heheheheh {Evil Laughter}

I understand how you feel. I'm in that mood right now since the family is still on vacation some xxxx miles away. The weather doesn't help.
But allow me to introduce a friend to you and you may like him too. He's my good pal Johnny. Johnny Walker. Apparently, there are a few of them and depending on how much you are willing to 'invest' in good ole Johnny, the come in a few variations - Black, Red and of course Blue. Sweet Johnny.... mmmm..
I read somewhere that winners always have an aim in life, either short or long term. With an aim or a target, only then can you direct your life in the right path. Be single-minded about it and pursue it hopefully without distractions. Your partner in life should also share the same aim.
I'm now going to share a good time with my mate Johnny.....

How about fish? The maintenance is low & always listen you w/o any grumble. Feed it when need you like.

River or fence is just a imaginary barrier and it can be overcome withn (eg. brigde, ladder).
