I was a single man for a week coz Ivy headed back to Spore to attend her younger bro's wedding. It felt unusual initially when I was home alone... but work took up most of my time and i did manage to do some photography with my ex-colleague Sonny. Didn't manage to take many nice photos mainly coz of the dull weather. Sonny is now working for a centrelink associated company..he handles those dole suckers. I was amazed on how tough it is to cut dole payment to these lazy people. Not many countries can afford such a wasteful system.

Yeah, sucks that the people who actually need money don't get enough, and those who don't have easy access.

Huh? How's money coming into THIS equation? But that's true.. a sad fact of life.
the world is kinda weird to me.. in developing countries, a lot of $$$ is wasted on corruption, whereas in developed countries like Oz, a lot of $$ is wasted on welfare and failed policies/studies.

Socialism IMHO really works only if everyone pulls their weight, or if there is more than enough to go around for everyone.
