The title of the blog entry was meant to refer to the simple bbq ivy and i did for our CNY celebrations. However, the news have been reporting nothing but stories about bush fires the whole day. It has been hot, but not the worst heat that i have ever felt here... i guess the continuous 35'C - 40'C days in Vic and NSW is the main culprit. AKhoo was over here for the weekend. He attended the Top Gear live performance in Sydney. Dunno how it went :-P Pictures below from the last few weeks.

Hey Ben, that sounds like a deelicious CNY dinner! Nice pic of my BIL too - even if it's a little too dark to make out who it is at first go :)
Well, the main thing about a good reunion dinner is good food. :P
Anyway, the girls are getting active and naughty at the same time. They are showing their tempers and their preferences very clearly. Sigh. The problem is both don't like the same things, and it applies to food as well as TV shows. Yes, they are starting to watch TV, and Clara likes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, whereas Cheril likes Little Einstein...Esshhh...
Ah Han, tat's creative photography..hee hee. I was too lazy to bring ta big camera wif all the gears. I like taking candid shots, but i dread carrying ta large camera.. but ta smaller camera sucks at night shots.. sigh
Lingie.., Looks like the twins won't like being dressed up alike too.. they are individuals!! ^_^
Thanks for the company, Mr. Ho. Top Gear Live was OK - lucky we got the cheapest tickets b'cos it was definitely not worth $250 for the front row seats plus you get smell of burnt rubber and the explosions.
I hope to spend more time in Sydney next time but it was great to see you again
Ah Khoo.. nice catching up wif you. Hopefully next time we can do more stuff..ie bball or fishing ^_^
I'm still waiting for our camping trip! I've already got a tent and all the necessary stuff!
ben, just realised your small bottle of shochu on the table... :)
akhoo..i have a tent too. the only location we have pitched a tent here was in our living room ^_^
mich.. shochu taste awful :-P
Ha ha...I could have told you Shoqi tastes awful. I nearly threw up the first time I tried it. Makes me wonder how the Koreans can drink it on a daily basis...must be all the Kimchi that they eat, which numbs their tongues :)
i bought it thinking it would taste like choya (the plum liquor)..or even sweet sake...silly me ^_^
hahah.. shochu is good.... choya is too sweet..
